Gil Santamarina is a graduate of Brown University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University where he was the author of a Note that was published in the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. After graduating from law school in 1992, he began working in Manhattan at a general practice law firm specializing in civil litigation and real estate law. Since starting Santamarina & Associates in 1999, he has represented individuals and small business as both plaintiff and defendant in a variety of claims brought in State and Federal Court, including landlord-tenant, commercial and contract, and international contract disputes.
Santamarina & Associates currently serves as counsel to numerous Coop and Condominium buildings located throughout New York City. Mr. Santamarina is admitted in to practice in all New York State and the Eastern and Southern Districts of the Federal Court system and has been a panel member of the Legal Referral Service of the New York State Bar Association since 1997.
