Kacy Popyer graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in Civil Litigation. While in law school, she interned at the United States Attorney’s Office – Southern District of New York, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office. Kacy also participated in Cardozo’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP) and served as an associate editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. Her Note, which addresses a search engine’s liability for defamation, was published in Volume 34 of the journal.
